This past week I went on a kind of Sephora spree. I was really tired because I’ve been killing myself making these THINKAboutTheINK videos (which I love but full time job + part time job = TIRING), so I felt like I deserved a good ole makeup spree. It began as a way to buy products that would help me fool people into thinking I’m awake but it quickly turned into an I NEED ALL THE TOO FACED THINGS shopping trip.
Anyway, here’s my haul!
NARS Concealer Stick and NARS Sheer Glow Foundation – I’ve only heard wonderful things about both of these products so I decided to bite the bullet and try them out. So far, I love the concealer but I think I’m still loving Make Up Forever foundation better than this one.
Benefit Puff Off! – I love how the applicator on this product looks like an iron! It adds such a quirky retro flair to the product. Puff Off! reduces puffiness under eyes and so far I’m very pleased with how it’s been working.
Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer – I am the whitest, especially in the winter and MAC discontinued the shimmering bronzer powder I’ve sworn by for years. I’m really into Too Faced products right now so I’ve been giving their bronzer a go and when applied with the brushes I purchased (below) it’s been looking quite fabulous.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – This is the only mascara I will use. The brush is contoured so nicely and it elongates lashes more than any other product I’ve tried. I am so into it.
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Palette – This is just the cutest! You can get a better view of the packaging in the below photo but it looks like you’ve just purchased a Hershey bar and I just love it to pieces. I haven’t tried any of the shadows yet, but SOON!

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream – Everyone always talks about how important moisturizing is and admittedly it’s a thing I almost never remember to do. I’ve wanted to make more of an effort to moisturize since now that I’m in an apartment I can’t control the heat and my skin gets super dried out. This particular moisturizer had amazing reviews on the Sephora website so I splurged. There was a noticeable difference in complexion after only TWO days of use so I am a converted user for life.
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette – This is sort of cheating because I actually got this around Christmastime but I wanted to include it here. I love all the neutrals and I actually like the Naked 2 Palette better than the OG. I’m also thinking I’ll need the Naked 3 Palette because it has BEAUTIFUL shades of rose golds and coppers.
Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair Brush Set – These brushes though! 1) They’re light pink, 2) they’re made of teddy bear hair, 3) they come with a cute gold and pink makeup case, 4) the makeup case has a rose gold teddy bear zipper charm.

Too Faced Candlelight – This translucent powder is supposed to softly illuminate one’s features. I love the chandelier on the packaging and this product also had great reviews. I’m looking forward to trying it!
What are some of your beauty must-haves?
I’m going to look into Puff Off. I have tried others and they don’t seem to help at all. I miss one day of good sleep/water and I look like a mess.
And I’m also terrible when it comes to moisturizing. I will have to look into that one too. And that Teddy Bear brush set! Too cute!
Yes! The First Aid Beauty moisturizer was my favorite part of my haul. I’ve been using it twice a day since I got it!
That Too Faced chocolate palette looks wonderful. I could do with some ultra repair cream on my hands before I go out into the cold as I’m getting chill blaines. Is your phone case Totoro, I recognise his fat belly ^_^
Yes! It is Totoro!
I’m dying to get the Naked 3 palette. I have the first one and am currently torn between the second and the third one! They both have such pretty colors.
The Teddy Bear “hair” brushed are the best!!!
Also, Puff-Off is amazing!!!
oh MAN, i want that naked pallette SO BAD. I need to just bite the bullet and get it. I’ve been eye-balling it for FOREVER.
It’s totally worth it!
